Weekly Weigh-in

Down .9 lbs
162.7 lbs

I'm concerned a bit and am tired of thinking about it.
My stomach has been growling for a week and it keeps me up at night.

I'm not eating less, but I am exercising harder and gaining muscle.
Do I need to increase my calories? Everything I read says to decrease the calories you eat as you lose weight, but I know the more muscle you have the more efficient the burn so I'm confused. If I am supposed to eat more calories, how many?

I HATE PLATEAU-ING!

I should be grateful for the .9 but that's only 1.3 in 2 weeks, when I normally lose 4, so it's discouraging and confusing.

However, my triumph of the day is that I worked out hard with lots of energy even though I feel like sitting on the couch eating a vat of chocolate.

It's just a plateau - don't worry about it! It happens to everyone. I'm definitely no expert, but I would think if you are working to gain muscle, you need to eat more. If you are working harder, you need to have more calories to burn away so your body doesn't starve.
